After an accident it is likely that the vehicle(s) are no longer drivable. This is why we are called in. We will be there in a flash after being dispatched to the location and we tow and clean up the scene of the accident to make the road safe for other citizens to drive on. Doesn’t matter where it needs to be taken after, we will get it there problem free and in a timely manner. Even if after the accident the car still drives decently please do not risk driving a car that’s been in a serious accident. It is dangerous and for your safety we do not recommend it.

When an accident happens an immense amount of force is exerted onto both vehicles involved. When force like that hits a car it is inevitable that something in the vehicle will break or burst. Vehicles are like humans in the sense that when humans are hurt adrenaline kicks in there have been reports of people do a full day’s physical labor and not even knowing they are badly injured. When something breaks or bursts in the car it can go miles before finally giving out just like injured humans. Also just like injured humans they CAN go for a while before giving out but they SHOULDN’T. Please don’t try to drive away from an accident we don’t want to come to find that there has been another accident because the vehicle has given out so ways down the road.

Michiana towing will pick up the wrecked vehicle and will either take it to the junk yard, to our shop, or to the shop of your choice. We are very sorry to see that you have been in a wreck so we will do what we can to help you through the process of either fixing or scrapping your vehicle. We work with a few departments that use wrecked vehicles also; so if your vehicle is totaled we will ask if you wouldn’t mind donating it to the local fire or police department for wreck training. That was something good can come out of your unfortunate situation.

If it is a matter of fixing your car there are a few options. We can tow and repair the vehicle at our shop or tow it to a shop of your choice.
